The team

We are a result-oriented team of 30 top-class players with experience in both traditional Software companies (like Google) and Blockchain projects (like Open Zeppelin).

The Tech Team consists of prime engineers with 8+ years of experience each in blockchain and high-throughput distributed systems. Senior Developers at RedStone include PhDs in Computer Science, Cryptography and Mathematics.

✅ Expectations

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in data analytics, ideally within DeFi or broader blockchain space, or trading / quantitative finance.
• Expert SQL skills and experience with time series databases (like InfluxDb)
• Taking initiative in problem-solving and chasing down solutions
• Solid coding skills - the ability to write clear, efficient and readable scripts
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex & multi-layered datasets, identify patterns or anomalies, and extract meaningful insights. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset
• Eagerness to learn new tools and improve your technical skill set
• Diligence and attention to details
• Proven ability to work independently and thrive in self-managed, fast-paced settings

🌟 Bonus Points For

• Experience in building models related to data from crypto exchanges or broader financial data modelling (especially asset pricing)
• Knowledge of internal mechanics of exchanges (order books, types of market depths and different forms of slippage)
• Experience in blockchain based technologies (understanding basic protocols and techniques for data fetching)
• Understanding of blockchain DeFi products, especially the mechanics of DEX’es and AMMs 
• A deep passion for blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi). Experience working with blockchain-based projects
• Professional experience in TypeScript / Node.js 

💼 Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the data quality assurance process across the whole company
• Designing, testing and optimising methodology for pricing data aggregation
• Implement data validation and monitoring processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency
• Monitoring and tracking public blockchain sources to ensure the collection and real-time analysis of critical data.
• Research and development of new innovative products for different asset classes
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales team to identify the challenges of data quality and communicate methodology updates
