Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Azure AI Engineer to support the design and delivery of AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure services. The role will focus on Generative AI, Azure Cognitive Services, and end-to-end AI solution development, working closely with customers to translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations.
This is a hands-on engineering role within a collaborative, matrix-based environment, with exposure to customer-facing GenAI projects and PoCs.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential Experience
Minimum 5+ years overall IT experience
At least 2+ years’ experience in Data Science and Azure
Hands-on experience working on at least one Generative AI customer project or PoC using a recent LLM
Strong Python development skills
Solid experience with Azure Cognitive Services (mandatory)
Comfortable working in shift-based environments
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders

Python
Prompt Engineering using Azure OpenAI or other recent LLMs
Hands-on experience with Form Recognizer, Cognitive Search, and Vector Databases

Secondary Skills
Understanding of the full IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test, Production)
Experience working in a matrix organisation
