About the Role

We are looking for a Scala Developer to join our dedicated product teams and contribute to the design and development of backend systems powering online mobile games and applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with purely functional Scala, building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions while collaborating closely with engineers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend software solutions in Scala.

• Architect and implement scalable systems to support mobile gaming and application platforms.

• Deliver high-quality, well-documented code supported by automated tests.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Share expert knowledge and provide mentorship to team members.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scala Developer (preferably with purely functional programming).

• Solid understanding of backend architectures, distributed systems, and microservices.

• Strong skills in writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Familiarity with functional programming principles and related libraries/frameworks.

• Experience with software testing, CI/CD, and documentation best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in agile teams.

• Good communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the gaming or mobile application industry.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Contribution to open-source Scala projects.
