Are you an experienced聽Automation QA Tester聽looking for a new challenge in the mobile game development industry? We are seeking a聽Mid-Level Automation QA Tester聽with聽basic C# and Unity knowledge聽to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our games. In this position, you will work closely with developers, designers, and production teams to automate testing processes, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to delivering top-notch gaming experiences.
聽聽聽聽This role will report to the聽Head of Production.聽This is a full-time, in-office position based in the iconic railway station building in Krakow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain聽automated test scripts聽for mobile games using C#.
- Implement聽test automation frameworks聽for Unity-based games.
- Execute聽manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality releases.
- Create, implement, and maintain聽comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform聽functional, exploratory, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools.
- Analyze game design specifications and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and production teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Participate in聽risk assessment聽for new features and game updates.
- Assist in聽mentoring junior testers聽and contribute to improving testing workflows.
- Ensure adherence to聽QA best practices聽and help refine testing strategies.
- Debug and analyze logs using聽Unity debugging tools.
- Work with聽database tools (e.g., MySQL)聽to verify game data integrity.
Job requirements
- 2+ years of experience聽in QA testing, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of聽QA methodologies, test design, and software development processes.
- Experience with聽mobile game testing聽(iOS and Android platforms).
- Basic knowledge of C# programming聽for writing simple test scripts.
- Experience with聽Unity game engine聽and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with聽test automation frameworks聽and scripting tools.
- Experience with聽REST API testing聽and tools like Postman.
- Excellent聽analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify potential issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to testing.
- Experience with聽bug tracking tools聽(e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
- Knowledge of聽SQL/MySQL聽for database validation.
- English B2 or higher聽(spoken and written).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with聽F2P mobile games.
- Familiarity with聽performance testing tools.
- Understanding of聽Agile/Scrum methodologies.
