Developer Advocate

We are looking for an experienced professional who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for developer education and community engagement. You will act as the face of RavenDB, translating complex database concepts into relatable content and representing the voice of the developer within our product team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Production: Create high-quality educational content (video, audio, written) focused on RavenDB (e.g., RavenDB Academy, technical articles, and code samples).

• Community Growth: Establish and grow new communication channels, including conference speaking, online tech talks, and active participation in developer user groups.

• The Feedback Loop: Advocate for developers by gathering feedback on pain points and collaborating with the Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap.

• Technical Support & Presence: Build relationships by engaging with the community on platforms like Stack Overflow, Reddit, GitHub, LinkedIn, and Discord.

• Public Representation: Speak at conferences, meetups, and webinars, and run hands-on technical workshops (either in person-optional- or virtually).

• Sample Code: Build and maintain "Getting Started" projects, demo apps, and SDK examples to lower the barrier to entry for new users.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–5 years in a technical role (DevRel, Software Engineering, or Solutions Architecture).

• Technical Stack: Strong software development background

• Communication: Proven experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, or documentation) that makes complex topics easy to understand.

• Public Speaking: Comfortable and engaging when presenting to technical audiences, whether in person (optional) or virtually.

• Community Presence: A visible profile in the developer community (e.g., personal blog, active GitHub, or Open Source contributions).
