Data Analyst

TUI, is a global business with over 70 000 people on board, great history and challenging plans for building a digital future. TUI is the largest leisure, travel and tourism company globally, and it owns travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise ships and retail shops.

 What you'll do

Full SDLC:

• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, business analysts, product owners, and technical leads to define, document, and communicate requirements for data platform enhancements

• Work within a cross-functional team to deliver semantic search functionality from concept through to operation

• Evaluate solution options and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders

• Translate business needs into business, user, and system requirements, considering impacts on upstream and downstream systems

• Support the full requirements lifecycle including planning, elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance

• Provide analysis and support across multiple agile delivery teams, working closely with product owners and business analysts

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data and dashboards supporting business decisions

• Work closely with data engineers, engaging in deep analysis of database structures and data flows

• Design and deliver meaningful dashboards that answer key business questions and enable self-service analytics

• Contribute to the evolution of data-related solutions, including alignment with AI/Search architecture roadmap considerations

• Apply a security-first mindset, ensuring secure practices are embedded in all activities

What we're looking for

• Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems, identify relevant data sources, and structure tasks effectively

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Solid understanding of cloud databases, data pipelines, and SQL/NoSQL technologies

• Proven experience in building data-driven dashboards to support business questions

• Strong Python expertise and experience with AWS services

• Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying analytics applications

• Strong automation mindset
