We are looking for:
Senior Data Engineer
Your future role:
- Acting as a Data Engineering SME on client projects and internal initiatives,
- Gathering business requirements regarding data products and addressing them with technical solutions,
- Building cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure services, including Databricks, Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Synapse, Cosmos DB and more,
- Designing, implementing and monitoring cloud-based ETLs,
- Supporting GenAI use cases with data pipelines and relevant data structures, e.g. vector databases,
- Guiding junior team members and reviewing their code,
- Regular communication with project stakeholders.
Apply if you have:
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience,
- Working experience with cloud services for building high-performance data pipelines with Python, Spark and SQL,
- Experience with processing large volumes of data, both structured and semi-structured,
- Strong communication skills,
- Min B2 in English, written and spoken,
- Good knowledge of Python and SQL,
- Practical knowledge of version control in git,
- Familiarity with Scrum or other agile PM methodologies,
- Familiarity with Linux and bash scripting.
Nice to have:
- Experience with GenAI applications, both as a user and a developer, e.g. RAG or Co-pilot,
- Familiarity with Data Governance topics: data quality assurance, data lineage, versioning, cataloging, privacy etc.,
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience in data modeling.
