Your responsibilities
Together with a Product Owner and an AI Platform Engineer, you'll be a part of a new dynamic team. You'll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure that the data platform can be built and continuously improved. Your team will focus on innovation and continuous learning, promoting the adoption of the latest data and AI technologies as well as best practices throughout the organization.
- Driving the development and implementation of the MS Fabric platform on MS Azure.
- Collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs and incorporating their feedback into the platform's development.
- Being part of a new team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented culture, and working closely with cloud architects, cloud engineers, and the security team.
- Implementing the requirements for the new data platform under the guidance of the Product Owner.
- Maximizing the value of the platform and ensuring that service levels remain consistently high.
Your ideal background and skillset:

Professional Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field. You have solid knowledge in Platform Engineering (Cloud) and MLOps, ideally with hands-on expertise in MS Fabric.

Architecture and Development: You are skilled in building Data Mesh and Data Fabric architectures. You are proficient in MLOps & DevOps, particularly in setting up and automating CI/CD pipelines and integrating solutions into production environments.

Azure Knowledge and Programming Skills: Extensive experience with Azure services, especially Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure SQL Database, as well as proficiency in SQL, Python, or other languages for data scripting, transformation, and automation.

Team Spirit and Communication: Strong diplomacy and communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders. Conflict resolution and collaboration on within interdisciplinary teams come naturally to you.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage.
