Job description
Job Summary:
You’ll join the team responsible for the administrative part of PubNub. You’ll be involved in releasing new exciting features for the customers and balancing rewriting old components to new ones while at it as well. Our stack consists of JS, TS, Python, deployed on Kubernetes cluster. You’ll be working in a collaborative, growing team, conscious of company goals.
Experience & Skills Required:
We are looking for someone who will be able to work efficiently with our tech stack.
- Presented a minimum 5 years of experience in working on full stack applications
- Experience and comprehensive understanding of web technologies
Expert:
- TypeScript
- SQL (MySQL)
- Knowledge of both functional and object-oriented programming
- Understanding of data structures
- Understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design patterns
Proficient:
- React
- js
- CI/CD (Concourse)
Competent:
- Python
- AngularJS
Novice:
- Kubernetes (EKS)
- Airflow
- AWS
Other skills:
- Work with product owner on translating business demands into technology concepts
- Presents understanding and implementation of scrum values at work
- Product centric focus
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
