About the Role
The Role We’re seeking an IT Support Engineer to support PubNub personnel and maintain our Katowice office infrastructure. You’ll work as part of a global IT team, follow documented processes, and help keep systems secure, reliable, and compliant.
What You’ll Do
Provide Tier 1 and 2 IT support for company personnel
Participate in an on-call rotation, performing initial alert checks and incident triage
Follow documented runbooks and escalate issues as appropriate
Support macOS endpoints (primary) and basic Windows environments
Troubleshoot connectivity (Wi-Fi, VPN, tethering) and remote desktops
Act as the primary IT contact for the Katowice office
Maintain local office infrastructure and on-site systems
Manage devices using MDM; update policies and libraries
Monitor and remediate endpoint security and compliance issues
Provision and deprovision accounts using established procedures
Support defined compliance tasks and audits
Maintain clear and accurate IT documentation
Collaborate with the global IT team and local vendors
Provide Polish-language support when needed
What We’re Looking For
Mandatory Requirements
3+ years of experience in IT support or IT operations
Strong macOS support experience; basic Windows knowledge
Experience with MDM and endpoint security tools
Experience participating in on-call or incident response rotations
Comfortable working in a distributed, remote-first environment
Strong communication skills in English and Polish
Detail-oriented and process-driven
Nice to Have
Google Workspace administration experience
AWS foundational knowledge or certification
Familiarity with IT ticketing and monitoring tools
Experience supporting small on-prem environments
