We are currently seeking a Software Development Team Leader to join our Technology department. In this role, you will lead two software development teams and serve as a key liaison between the development teams, Product, and Engineering management. You will take ownership of the Suite Team, which is responsible for our core back-office platform and primary application used by our direct customers – the hoteliers. Additionally, you will lead the AdTech Team, which connects our applications with external platforms such as websites, advertising channels, and metasearch engines.

Daily activities

• Building and developing the team: fostering motivation, professional growth, and overall effectiveness of team members.

• Supporting the team in day-to-day work, assigning tasks, and distributing competencies within development teams.

• Creating a friendly, collaborative, and inclusive working environment that encourages innovation.

• Leading recruitment, onboarding, and coordinating trainings and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Close collaboration with the Engineering Manager, CTO, and other leaders across the organization.

• Coordinating with Product Managers, developers, testers, and architects in designing and delivering the company’s strategic applications.

• Active participation in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, review, retrospective).

• Overseeing code quality and the architecture of developed and maintained applications.

• Promoting best engineering practices and recommending optimal solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Team Lead or Technical Team Lead with direct responsibility for people development and team leadership.

• Strong decision-making track record and ability to guide the team toward achieving ambitious goals.

• The engineering mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

• Technical background as a seasoned software engineer, preferably with experience in:

  • PHP 7–8, Laravel or Symfony

  • TypeScript, Node.js

  • MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB

  • Vue

  • Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes

• Solid practical experience in agile/scrum frameworks.

• Product-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills, especially with Product Managers.

• Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English (C1 level).

3. Role fit interview with Engineering Director and Product Manager (45 minutes)
