Senior Java Developer

At Pretius we are looking for Senior Java Developer to a project in the financial industry, international team.

Project / Role

• Designing and developing scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices

• Participating in architecture discussions and technical design decisions

• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers

• Collaborating with DevOps teams on CI/CD and cloud deployments

• Ensuring application performance, security, and reliability

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience in Java development

• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring / Spring Boot

• Experience with REST APIs, Hibernate / JPA

• Good understanding of SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of Git and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

• Very good command of English (min. B2/C1)

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems
