Cloud Information Security Officer (ISO)

At Pretius we are looking for Cloud Information Security Officer to a project in the financial industry, international team.

Project / Role

• Provide subject matter expertise on cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework, Google Cloud Security Command Center)

• Guide the implementation and governance of cloud IAM models, with a focus on AWS and GCP

• Perform risk assessments and manage information security risk governance processes across cloud environments

• Support and consult with business stakeholders on security, risk, compliance, and cloud adoption initiatives

• Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CSA STAR

• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to ensure security by design in cloud environments

• Provide oversight and guidance on infrastructure security across services such as VPC, EC2, S3, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine

• Contribute to secure implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation

• Deliver clear and effective communication of cloud security issues, particularly during high-pressure scenarios

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience securing cloud environments (particularly AWS and GCP)

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and security controls across major platforms

• Experience in risk assessment, security governance, and regulatory compliance

• Familiarity with IAM security models and secure cloud architecture best practices

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP (preferred)

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with IaC security (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

• Public Cloud Security or Architecture certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
