We’re a global, people-first software house matching ambitious developers with challenging projects. Our team of over 100 professionals helps build and improve digital businesses, software platforms, eCommerce stores, websites, apps, and everything in between. And they’re good at it.

We are currently seeking an experienced Python/Django Developer (full-stack oriented) to join a fast-moving German AI startup delivering a modern SaaS platform built around lightweight “microapps.”

The project is already in the MVP development phase, with a clear technical roadmap and documentation ready for quick onboarding. The client needs someone who can join as early as next week (week of 8 December) to jump into development immediately. At this stage, you’ll work full-stack end-to-end within a small setup, taking ownership of features across backend and frontend integrations. A dedicated React Frontend Developer and UX/UI support are planned to join later as the product grows.

The initial cooperation covers a trial MVP sprint until the end of January, with a strong option for extension and long-term collaboration if the sprint goes well.

Get ready to:

• Build and enhance core MVP features for an AI-enabled SaaS platform

• Develop and maintain services in Python/Django

• Design, implement, and document REST APIs for current and future integrations

• Work full-stack on early-stage product delivery (end-to-end flows, API contracts, frontend integration support)

• Ship pragmatic, product-oriented solutions in a rapid MVP environment

• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and fast iterations toward validation goals

• Prepare the platform foundations for later scaling and team growth

• Collaborate closely with Polcode and the client’s team

• Ensure clean, testable code and contribute to technical documentation.

What we’re looking for:

• Solid commercial experience with Python/Django

• Proven background in building and integrating REST APIs

• Full-stack mindset - comfortable owning features end-to-end and cooperating across layers

• Experience working on SaaS products or modern web platforms

• Good understanding of backend architecture, security, and scalability fundamentals

• Availability to start immediately and work full-time through the MVP sprint

• High level of independence, ownership, and proactive problem-solving

• Great communication skills and readiness to work in an international startup setting

• Comfortable working in a distributed team and communicating in English (min. B2)

• Availability in standard European business hours.

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience with AI/ML-integrated products or automation platforms

• Familiarity with modern frontend stacks (React / Tailwind) to support early full-stack delivery

• Background in MVP/product validation work in startup environments

• Cloud experience (AWS or similar), CI/CD, infrastructure-friendly mindset

• Experience with multi-tenancy, subscription logic, or third-party SaaS integrations.
