C/C++ Developer

PLVision is seeking a C/C++ Developer with expertise in Linux and computer networking, a passion for open-source software, and experience in C and C++ development. In this role, you will join our newly launched project, which focuses on integrating and enhancing the SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) network operating system for the client’s hardware platform. This initiative is part of the company’s new product launch and aims to establish a robust foundation for developing and maintaining the SONiC software ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software to optimize SAI/SONiC performance on new platforms
• Maintain design documentation to support software modifications
• Implement and document SAI/SONiC features (components) as per requirements
• Collaborate closely with the test team to provide a development perspective
• Ensure all functionality meets defined quality metrics and deadlines

Requirements

• Deep Linux OS knowledge
• Good understanding of networking protocols (Layer 2 or Layer 3 networking protocols implementation, TCP sockets programming)
• Good knowledge of C and C++
• 3+ years of commercial experience in Software Engineering
• Knowledge of technical English at Intermediate level and higher
