C++ Programmer

Product Brief

We are developing a real-time visualization tool powered by Unreal Engine for our customer that is a global player in digital experience sector. It's used by anyone from architects, urban planners, and landscaping professionals, to designers working on consumer products, transportation, or even fashion, and beyond— to quickly and easily produce high-quality images, panoramas, standard or 360° VR videos, and interactive presentations from design data.

We are looking for a Senior C++ Programmer who will develop and maintain plugins for interoperability with the above mentioned Tool and Unreal Engine in Sketchup, Rhino, Archicad, Solidworks, and Revit.

Our customer is involved in interactive entertainment and technology, known for developing tools and platforms that creators worldwide uses to build digital experiences. Innovation and high-quality content, ecosystem of games, virtual environments, and 3D solution.

Buzzwords:

• C++ expert
• Unreal Engine
• Mid-level, at least 6 years of experience

Schedule:

Full-time role to be covered ASAP.

• Time zone: European time zone or US East Coast
•  Language: English

Scope of work - Deliverables:

• Make improvements to the Tool application and the Datasmith plugins.
• Optimize and fix bugs in an existing C++ code base.
• Update Datasmith plugins to support new versions of DCC software.
• Improve current behaviors in Datasmith exporters and importers.

What we're looking for

• Exceptional C++ programming skills, at least 6 years of relevant experience. More experience is a plus.
• Experience developing applications across multiple platforms, Windows and Mac
• Knowledge of networking, rendering, and other systems impacting quality and performance
• Keen analytical mind and mature problem-solving skills
• Unreal Engine development experience
• Knowledge of 3D model data formats. (ex: gltf, obj, fbx, skp, USD, …)
