We’re looking for a Mid or Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile team and help us evolve PhysiApp - our flagship mobile application - as well as other products we own. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver features that impact real patients and clinicians around the world.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on meaningful products, values clean architecture, and is comfortable in a remote-first, async-friendly environment.
A selection of your day-to-day tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Developing and maintaining our Android application written in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features
- Ensuring high performance, code quality, and maintainability
- Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge within the team
- Contributing to architecture and product discussions
- Monitoring app performance and improving stability and usability
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A solid understanding of Android development and Kotlin
- Proficiency with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development
- Experience with Jetpack libraries and architecture components (e.g. MVVM, Coroutines)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile UI/UX best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and Polish
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and a user-first attitude
- Ability to work across the full product development lifecycle – from shaping ideas during early product discussions to delivering high-quality features to production
- High level of ownership
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles
- Background in building apps in healthcare, fitness or wellness sectors
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile projects
- Exposure to analytics and event tracking tools
- Experience working in distributed, remote teams
