For the project that we are working on with our Partner, we are looking for Linux Administrator (The Netherlands).
About the Role
We are seeking three experienced Linux Administrators to provide day‑to‑day operational support and reserve duty services for the Storage, Operating Systems and Virtualisation (SOV) team at Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC).The selected experts will support both development and production environments, ensuring high availability, operational continuity, and compliance with clinet's technical and security standards.
Your duties will include:
Provide daily Linux administration support for MUAC systems.
Handle operational issues, troubleshoot incidents, and process user requests.
Support high‑availability environments in line with MUAC’s operational requirements.
Ensure proper virtualisation management using VMware and AHV.
Manage containers using Podman and Kubernetes.
Maintain certificate management processes and tools.
Support configuration and automation using Ansible, Clearcase, Red Hat IDM, LDAP, Active Directory, and related technologies.
Perform Linux patch management (e.g., SUMA).
Support Red Hat Linux deployment automation using Terraform.
Maintain backup environments (CommVault or Rubrik).
Manage repository tools (e.g., Nexus) and GitOps tools (e.g., FluxCD).
Work closely with internal EUROCONTROL teams to ensure operational compliance and timely delivery.
Requirements that must be met:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in ICT or relevant engineering field;
OR at least 6 years of professional experience in Linux administration
Technical Certifications
LPI certification (or equivalent)
CKA certification
Mandatory Experience
- Minimum 3 years in each area

- Minimum 1 year: GitOps principles (e.g., FluxCD)
- English C1
- Certificate of good conduct required prior to contract signature
