Azure Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient architectures. This role requires deep expertise in identity management, infrastructure design, and networking within enterprise environments. 

Your responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Develop end-to-end Azure architectures aligned with business and security requirements.

• Identity & Access Management: Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management.

• Infrastructure: Design and deploy compute, storage, and virtualisation solutions using Azure services (Containers, VMs, Scale Sets, Storage Accounts).

• Networking: Architect secure and high-performance network topologies, including VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO, GDPR).

• Automation & DevOps: Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and other CI/CD tools for deployment automation.

• Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise cloud resources for cost efficiency and reliability.

• Collaboration: Work closely with IT Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Your Profile:

• Cloud Expertise:

• -Proven experience in Azure architecture and design.

• -Strong understanding of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security).

• Identity Management:

• -Expertise in Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and identity governance.

• Networking:

• -Proficiency in designing hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), network security, and routing.

• Infrastructure:

• -Experience with virtual machines, storage solutions, and high-availability setups.

• Security:

• -Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and Azure Security Centre.

• Automation:

• -Hands-on experience with IaC tools & CI/CD Pipelines

• Certifications (Preferred):

• -Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• -Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and lead technical discussions.
