About the Project

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Software Engineering team and support a large‑scale cloud transformation initiative within the energy sector. You will work on modern cloud solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, scalability, and security across the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions integrating cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure and platform environments with a focus on reliability and scalability.

• Create proof‑of‑architecture to validate system performance, security, and design feasibility.

• Act as a subject matter expert, supporting and guiding the engineering team.

• Take ownership of key technical decisions and collaborate with multiple technical and business teams.

• Provide solutions to complex issues affecting multiple domains of the project.

• Develop innovative cloud solutions enhancing operational efficiency.

• Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure cloud application stability and security.

• Align cloud architecture with broader business goals in cross‑functional collaboration.

• Mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning and development.

• Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.

  
  

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Explorer — required.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure Event Hubs — strongly preferred.

• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud architecture in enterprise environments.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and decision‑making skills.
