🚀 The Role

We’re looking for a Developer Experience Lead to take ownership of our Developer Experience Portal - the central hub for all things APIs, SDKs, and dev tools at Pay.com.

You’ll be the go-to person for making sure developers (internal and external) have a world-class experience, from smooth onboarding to rich documentation and intuitive tooling.

This is a strategic, cross-functional role that impacts how developers engage with our platform.

🛠 What You'll Be Doing

• Own and evolve the Developer Experience Portal - its structure, content, and impact.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing & CS to align the portal with roadmap goals.
• Write and maintain high-quality docs, tutorials, code samples, and guides.
• Act as the voice of the developer – gather feedback and champion improvements.
• Lead or participate in dev-focused events, workshops, and training sessions.
• Use data + feedback to improve the dev journey constantly.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Developer Experience, DevRel, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building or managing developer portals or technical documentation.
• Deep understanding of APIs, SDKs, and modern dev workflows.
• Excellent communicator with a passion for clear, engaging technical writing.
• A strategic thinker who thrives in cross-functional environments.
• Strong empathy for developers and a bias for action.

🌟 Bonus Points

• Experience in fintech/payments
• Background in software engineering or architecture
• Familiarity with tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, ReadMe.io, or similar
• Comfortable using analytics to measure impact and drive decisions
