Senior WordPress Developer

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer who has solid experience in maintaining, developing, and scaling large websites and e-commerce platforms. In this role, you will work on complex digital products for technology and e-commerce brands from around the world. 🌍

Key responsibilities:

• Developing complex websites and online stores built on WordPress

• Maintaining existing services and ensuring their stability, security, and performance

• Creating custom functionalities, integrations, and scripts to automate work

• Support project managers in preparing time estimates for projects and in communication with a client 

• Using AI tools in day-to-day work to improve productivity, speed up development, support debugging, research, documentation, and code quality

The Osom candidate: 

• You have 5+ years of commercial programming experience in building custom solutions on WordPress

• You can create a plugin from scratch or integrate a website with an external API

• You know PHP and you have experience in object-oriented programming

• You have practical knowledge of backend and server-side environments, including deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices

• You are fluent in English and Polish (both spoken and written)

• You have experience with WooCommerce

• You are familiar with AI tools for debugging, testing, and automation

  Recruitment process:

2. You will be asked to complete an online questionnaire. If you receive it, congratulations - it means there is something in your profile that caught the attention of our recruiting team. This stage allows us to see how you express yourself and organize your thoughts in written communication, especially in English.

3. You are invited to an online interview with HR and our CTO. During the meeting, we will encourage you to ask as many questions as possible - we want you to have the space to learn more about your future tasks, the types of projects you may work on, and the company culture in general.

4. You are invited to an online pair programming session with our Tech Lead. You can expect a practical coding task based on a real development scenario. At this stage, we want to better understand how you think, communicate, and approach solving technical problems.
