About the role:

We are currently seeking a senior back-end developer with a focus on native Python development. The role involves a balanced allocation of time between various aspects of software development, including new feature development (70% of your time), maintenance (20%), and support (10%).

We’re looking for someone, who has

• At least 3 years of professional experience in web and application development.
• Experience with creating cloud-native code (we use AWS)
• Experience with using Docker
• Experience with Python, specifically Fast API and SQLAlchemy.
• Strong background in end-to-end product development, ideally in a startup environment.
• Collaborative team player with a passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.
• Fluent English – at least B2+ level (CEFR scale).
• Strong soft skills, particularly in problem-solving, with the ability to creatively solve problems with a lot of independence.
• Nice to have - experience with planning & managing cloud infrastructure & terraform

How does our recruitment process look like?

1. Firstly, you’ll meet Paulina (People&Culture Specialist). You will learn more about the company and talk about the motivation to work with us.
2. Then, you will get short task to solve, but If you have your own project to show (e.g on github), it can replace doing this technical task.
3. Later, you will meet online with Jakub and Bartek and talk about your task or project and work at Orbify.
4. The final stage is a meeting with Ewelina (COO) and Michał (CPO). :)
