Senior Java Developer with AWS

Our client is a leader in the SaaS industry, specializing in software solutions for insurance companies. With 20 years of experience, they offer a comprehensive software package that supports key insurance processes such as policies, claims, reinsurance, and payments. They are renowned for their cutting-edge solutions, which they configure and tailor to meet the specific needs of their clients.

Currently undergoing a large technological transformation and building a competence center in Warsaw, the company is moving towards a Cloud Native, multi-tenant platform to modernize its infrastructure. They are making a significant investment in cloud services to create a more scalable, efficient system.

The Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Developers to join our client's team in Warsaw. This position will be pivotal in the development and maintenance of their core platform while overseeing the transformation into a fully cloud-native, multi-tenant system. You will be part of a new team being built in Poland, consisting of 50 talented professionals, and will collaborate with global stakeholders.

• Play a key role in developing and maintaining the main SaaS platform for insurance companies
• Oversee the transformation from virtual machines to a fully cloud-native, multi-tenant system
• Collaborate with global teams and Professional Services to ensure seamless integration and configuration of software
• Drive innovation and support large-scale cloud-native investments
• Ensure high-quality delivery of solutions tailored to the insurance sector

Key competences

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Expert in Object-oriented design, Java development, Relational OLTP queries and Relational database design
•  Very good knowledge of AWS
• Knowledge of Kafka platform
• Expert of XML/XSLT document design, JavaScript development, HTML5 & CSS
• Excels in the ability to manage deadlines, communicate in a team, and operate independently with guidance
• Expert in how to estimate, analyze, and the Software Product Development Lifecycle with Agile methodology
