Mid/Senior PHP Developer

We are currently looking for a strong Mid or Senior PHP Developer to collaborate with one of our clients, a cloud-based retail management platform. 

This position is a hybrid working model in Wrocław, with options to work 4 days in the office/ 1 day remotely or 3 days in the office/ 2 days remotely.

In this position, you will:

Develop and Maintain Backend Systems:

• build scalable and efficient backend applications using PHP frameworks like CakePHP and Laravel.
• create and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis using Pandas.
• develop serverless APIs and microservices using Node.js and AWS Lambda.

Database Management:

• design, implement, and maintain databases using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.

Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams:

• work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.
• participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Ensure Code Quality and Performance:

• write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• debug and resolve technical issues across all layers of the application.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends:

• continuously learn and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve application performance and developer productivity.

• PHP: Proficiency with CakePHP and Laravel frameworks
• Python: Strong experience
• Node.js: Expertise in building APIs and scripting, particularly with AWS Lambda
• Databases: Hands-on experience with MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
• API Development: Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• excellent communication and teamwork skills
• ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• experience with Agile methodology and ability to work in an iterative development cycle
• advanced verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
