Senior .NET Software Engineer

Remote | Full-time | AI/Tech Startup | Start ASAP|$46–$56/hour

Onsights is a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup bringing next-gen video analytics and location intelligence to the retail world. Our technology is already in use by major players, and with growing demand, we’re looking for an experienced .NET Engineer to help us expand our suite of edge computing applications and beyond.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain robust .NET desktop applications (WPF,  Windows Services)

• Develop portable, installable solutions with remote monitoring and telemetry

• Integrate with Azure services like Entra ID and IoT Hub

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, to support video analytics and system health monitoring

• Work on CI/CD pipelines and support the full software lifecycle

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET (4.5+ / .NET 6+)

• Strong skills building WPF and Windows Service applications and distributed systems

• Experience with CI/CD tools, Azure integration, and unit testing (NUnit)

• Familiarity with networking, telemetry, diagnostics, and edge architectures

• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills

Communication & Team Setup

• English fluency B2+ is required – it’s our everyday working language and used in all meetings

• All interviews will be conducted in English

• Our client operates in the EST time zone, so 3–4 hours of daily overlap is needed for collaboration

• You’ll be working in small, focused teams (up to 10 people) with direct impact on the product

Recruitment Process (4 stages)

1. Intro call with Agata (Recruiter) – a short intro to get to know you and tell you more about the role and the company

2. Conversation with Luis (VP of Engineering & Chief Data Officer) – a discussion about your experience, personality fit, and overall understanding of the position and expectations

3. Technical interview with one of our Senior Developers – we’ll dive deeper into your technical background and skills, focusing on practical knowledge

4. Live coding session (approx. 1 hour) – a hands-on technical challenge to assess how you approach and solve real-world problems
