    Job description

    We have a team of more than 600 experts, who know their stuff. We follow our common sense more often than we use the procedures. And most probably, we play the most fierce table football matches in Wrocław. We develop Enterprise-class software in the atmosphere full of the English sense of humour.


    We are a software development company, one of the best in Wroclaw. Our way is to provide quality and a great atmosphere in the office. We are looking for a new colleague: a data enthusiast -passionate about diving deep into volumes of data and drawing conclusions. Such a person interacts easily and communicates well with all process stakeholders: business, technical, and finance, along with information suppliers on the open market. The global objective of this role is to strengthen decision-making so that we can operate based on hard facts rather than intuition.


    Your role    :

    • Gathering, collecting, and storing data.
    • Supporting data scientists in doing their job more effectively.
    • Monitoring performance and advising on any necessary infrastructure changes.
    • Managing CI and CD processes (GIT, TeamCity, or similar).
    • Performing batch processing on data (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, implementing ETL process, etc.), also on unstructured data.
    • Selecting and integrating any data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities.
    • Identifying information gaps and looking for other data sets to fill in the blanks – including recognizing data quality issues and addressing them (either by cleaning the data or proposing process changes).
     

    You are The One, if you have:

    • Programming experience in Python.
    • Best engineering practices (handling and logging errors, monitoring the system, understanding what is necessary to be scaled up, addressing continuous integration, knowledge of database administration, maintaining data cleaning, ensuring a deterministic pipeline, etc.).
    • Passion for data and software engineering and attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate in English (both in speech and writing).
    • ood knDowledge of operating systems (Linux Ubuntu Server, Windows Server) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
    • Experience in the integration of data from multiple data sources.
    • Ability to work both in a team as well as on your own.
    • Experience with CI/CD processes.
