    We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Platform and Tools (PAT) Team, working with Nordcloud’s SaaS-product Klarity.

    To be successful and fit our dynamic team, as a Software Engineer at Nordcloud Platform and Tools (PAT) you will take part in our product development processes of Nordcloud’s internal tooling and SaaS products. You will be working in one of the most modern tech stacks in Europe, leveraging pure cloud-native services and serverless model in your everyday work. You will build reusable code and run it at scale, without a single VM or a Kubernetes cluster. 

    Being a part of Nordcloud PAT you will work with:

    • One of the languages: Golang, Python, JavaScript, Typescript
    • FaaS based microservices architectures in AWS, Azure
    • State of the art IaC libraries (AWS CDK, Terraform)
    • Azure DevOps pipelines and Github Actions
    • GraphQL and REST APIs
    • Storage services like DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless, Redshift, Neptune

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Knows and has strong experience with one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang, or any other enterprise-class language. Willingness to learn Golang is a must.
    • Takes ownership of the code and product quality
    • Is a creative and open-minded team player
    • Knows about DevOps stuff
    • Is not afraid of complex microservices architecture
    • Has worked in agile sprints and understands software development cycles
    • In childhood could not stop themselves from taking stuff apart
    • Has an inside Geek that needs constant feeding
    • Very good English in writing and speaking
    • ‘Hold my beer - I got this’ attitude

    Skills that would be a plus:

    • Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform or Azure
    • Experience in cloud-native development (e.g. serverless)
    • BS or MSC degree in computer science
