At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who’s ready to deep dive into the hard problems of physical manipulation (trying to match with software the millions of years of development leading to the human hand + eye) and share their software development and design experience with our amazing team.

What we can offer you:

🎯 Role: Senior Software Engineer (focus na architekturę lub robotykę!)

💰 Compensation: 25 000 - 32 000 PLN gross, with a Contract of Employment

⏱ Flexible working time: 160h (within Polish timezone)

📍 Working mode: Hybrid

🏢 Office location: ul. Rakowiecka 36, Warszawa

🇬🇧 Language: English for everyday communication (Polish is nice to have)

Your tasks:

1. Building modular and expandable control system for the robot actions that can be easily adapted to multiple customer use-cases
2. Use data to build heuristics for handling different categories of items
3. Detecting anomalies, e.g. using a combination of signals to determine if a robot picked more than one item at once or if one item is disassembling
4. Smart placing, tetris-like algorithms for real products
5. Interfaces and APIs for integration with warehouse management systems

What you’ll need?

1. 5+ years of experience in software development
2. Technical leadership skills & experience
3. Great problem solving and proficiency in one of the modern programing languages (we use Python)
4. Experience in designing complex, multilevel software systems
5. Fluent communication in English
