Procurement Specialist

As a leading player in the area of innovation in the sustainable and intelligent mobility industry, the company has developed the unique MagRail technology, enabling it to significantly improve the efficiency of existing rail transport systems and take them to a whole new dimension.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Procurement Specialst who will bring value to Nevomo in all releated procurement topics.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure the acquisition of high-quality technical products and services for railway projects
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, fostering strong relationships to guarantee a reliable supply chain for technical components and materials
• Conduct technical evaluations of suppliers and their offerings to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while adhering to budget constraints
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, especially those related to technical specifications, quality, and delivery timelines
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and internal policies throughout the procurement process
• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising technical specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to understand project requirements and specifications, aligning procurement activities with technical needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong technical background, preferably in the railway industry
• Profound understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and requirements related to railway components and systems
• Proven experience in evaluating technical capabilities of suppliers and ensuring alignment with project and industry standards
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions while maintaining technical specifications
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with technical procurement, ensuring uninterrupted project timelines
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards, legal requirements, and the ability to ensure adherence in procurement activities
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, internal technical teams, and other stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess technical offerings and make informed procurement decisions
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and industry changes
