(Senior) UX Designer based in Kuwait - Freelance

Currently, we are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join one of the projects for our client - on-site in Kuwait City.

Start date: ASAP

End date: 18.02.2026

Rate: up to 40€/h on B2B contract

Requirements

• Extensive UX experience with strategic, system-level thinking.
• Strong skills in interaction design and information architecture.
• Deep understanding of user psychology and behavior.
• Expert-level knowledge of:
• 10 usability heuristics (Nielsen)
• UX laws (e.g. Hick’s, Fitts’s, Jakob’s)
• NNG research-based design principles
• Ability to:
• Analyze simple and complex UI screens
• Identify usability issues at a glance
• Propose and iterate on design solutions effectively
• Designs with the depth and rigor of a UX Lead, even if not in a leadership title.
• are looking at the big picture (business models, marketing strategies, data, researches and problems);
• can use advanced tool (Google Analytics, Mix Panel, GA, Hotjar, Userzoom, AppSee, UserTesting and more);
• think as yourself and every other user who is going to use the product;
• know how UI is connected with UX and you always keep that in mind when you work with other designers;
• are active advocate from user’s point of view, data, tests and researches;
• know how to conduct competitive analysis;
• are able to conduct UX reviews;
• can analyse analytics data and researches and make design decisions based on facts;
• have knowledge of how to build user stories and map user flows;
• know how to test your designs both online and onsite with users.

Client goals:

• Main objective: Finalize the current project involving UX/UI, chatbot, AI, and content
• Aim to deliver a product worthy of Client’s reputation as a digital bank
• Goal to surpass competition and improve on their current app
