We are looking for Senior Data Scientist.
Location: Remote (CET working hours)
Start date: asap
Duration: ~4 months
Contract type: B2B only, full-time.
Salary rate: 34-40 EUR/hour
In this role you would:
Conceptualize off the right modeling approach for challenges in the field of supply chain at scale, together with your squad lead and our stakeholders.
Innovate new modeling solutions by drawing from fields like Machine Learning, Operations Research and Statistics that drive value for our business.
Add value to our demand forecast by combining it with other business information and requirements to provide optimal reccomendations
Provide ideas in brainstorming sessions with your Data Science colleagues to solve the toughest modeling problems together.
Help defining data needs to bring value to the projects, collaborate with the data engineering and tech teams in planning their roadmap.
Requirements
Must-haves:
7+ years of experience in applying methods from machine learning to real-world datasets.
Skills in Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, SQL, Airflow, and PySpark.
Experience in solving regression problems with statistical, linear/non-linear models and ensemble models in particular (Random Forest/XGBoost/LightGBM/CatBoost).
Experience with Time-Series Forecasting or Linear Optimization.
Can write maintainable code that follows best practices in software engineering.
Can transfer business problems from a problem space to a technical solution space.
Very good command of written and spoken English (C1) is required.
