Job Description


As Nearmap expands its international footprint, we're hiring our first Product Designer in Poland. You’ll join a growing, purpose-led design team focused on creating intuitive, empowering and scalable digital products.

You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. You will be expected to use your full range of product design skills, conducting user research, defining and documenting end-user workflows and illustrating user journeys. You will own the experience for a dedicated product area.

You will also play an important role in advocating the value of a strong design culture at Nearmap. Working with cross-functional partners to create an efficient product design process and putting customers at the centre of everything we do.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing digital products, ideally within B2B SaaS or geospatial/data-rich platforms.

  • Demonstrating a strong track record of end-to-end product design, with a portfolio showcasing user-centred thinking, strategic impact, and polished execution.

  • Hands-on experience using Figma and prototyping tools to explore and communicate design solutions

  • Applied user research methods and analytics to inform, validate, and iterate on product design decisions.


Tech Skills: 


  • Advanced UX and visual design craft: Demonstrate strong information architecture, visual hierarchy, and layout skills, using and evolving established design systems and patterns.

  • Collaborative leadership: Build trusted cross-functional relationships, lead design conversations, and negotiate thoughtfully with engineering and product counterparts.

  • Research and data fluency: Define success metrics, partner with data and research teams, and incorporate both qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.

  • Clear communication: Express complex ideas clearly, lead critique sessions, and ensure alignment through strong verbal and written communication.

  • Mentorship and feedback: Support the growth of other designers through thoughtful feedback, cross-team engagement, and design critique leadership.About you
