QA Engineer (Manual / Automation)

We are an Authorized Electronic Money Institution (EMI) operating under a licence granted by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. Our focus is on developing and expanding our product, primarily through our banking application and admin portal that support our services. To enhance our mobile presence, we've recently started building dedicated mobile apps using React Native. Our main technologies include React, Next.js, React Native, and React Query.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in Quality Assurance (mid to senior level, 4+ years of professional experience).

• Solid background in manual testing of complex web applications.

• Experience with test automation (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar) is a big plus.

• Understanding of frontend architectures and APIs

• Experience testing financial, regulated, or security-sensitive systems is a big plus.

• Ability to organize your own work, set priorities, and manage your time independently.

Your responsibilities:

• Define, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.

• Ensure high product quality through manual and automated testing.

• Collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers to catch issues early and prevent regressions.

• Review product requirements and designs with a critical eye, identifying edge cases and risks.

• Help establish and improve QA processes and best practices across the team.

• Contribute to documentation to share knowledge and improve overall team quality.

• Continuously look for ways to simplify testing and improve efficiency.
