QA Automation Engineer (Java) in the EU
Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Java) in the EU to build test automation, ensure quality releases, and support reliable delivery of business-critical systems.
The customer is an international IT services and consulting company specializing in software quality engineering, test automation, and process optimization. The company supports digital transformation initiatives by delivering scalable automation solutions and improving the reliability, performance, and efficiency of complex business systems across various industries.
The project is focused on providing end-to-end quality assurance services, including manual and automated testing, to support business-critical systems. It involves building and maintaining test coverage, executing functional and regression testing, and ensuring reliable releases through structured QA processes and clear reporting.
Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive automated test frameworks for Web (Selenium), Mobile (Appium), and API (REST Assured) using Java and TestNG.
Automating security and cryptography testing, including validation of TLS, AES/RSA implementations, mobile device attestation of APIs, and identity/access management flows.
Creating, executing, and analyzing load and performance tests using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and ensure system stability.
Integrating and managing automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), utilizing container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) for test environment orchestration.
Managing the testing lifecycle using Jira and Confluence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting code reviews to ensure test quality and maintainability.
Must-haves:
Experience in QA Automation for 2+ years.
Hands-on experience with API testing, particularly using REST Assured.
Proficiency in ALM tools such as Jira and Confluence for test management.
Strong experience in test automation using Java, TestNG, Selenium, and Appium.
Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
Experience with mobile client attestation (e.g., Android DVS, SafetyNet, Play Integrity API, Apple Device Attestation, Secure Enclave, Warden Supreme).
Strong understanding of security and identity management practices.
Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with load and performance testing using JMeter.
In-depth knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards (e.g., AES, RSA, TLS).
