Senior Java Engineer

Project: One of the world's largest fashion retailers selling in 215 markets through its online platform or its 6,477 stores in 95 markets. By working closely together as a single company globally focused on the key elements of fashion production – design, manufacture, distribution, and retail.

All the production is founded on three pillars – flexibility, digital integration, and sustainability.

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of extensive Java development, Maven
2. 2-3 years of Spring framework and building Spring web applications
3. Understanding and experience developing and deploying microservices
4. Experience developing REST interfaces, OpenApi
5. Excellent design, coding and debugging skills
6. OOP, OOD, DDD. Design Patterns proficient
7. Working knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL technologies – Mongo DB
8. Working knowledge of IBM MQ, Kafka, Kafka streaming
9. Familiar with GrayLog, Grafana
10. Working knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes
11. Working experience in an Agile environment, a clear understanding of Agile methodologies mindset, and development practices applicable to them

Responsibilities:

1. Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
2. Provide system or technical development expertise to the team
3. Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
4. Provide effort estimations
5. Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders (Product Owner) on customer’s site
6. Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
7. Excellent communication, organizational, and facilitation skills, product-oriented mindset, focus on team results, willingness to continuous personal and team improvements, leadership
8. qualities, and resilience.
9. Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English level (there will be a lot of communication with the client).
