Lead .NET Engineer (#4732)
As a Lead Software Engineer on the Data Protection team, you'll be a key player in building the security foundation for Client's global infrastructure in Azure. You'll work on ultra-fast back-end services (managing encryption keys and advanced cryptography) that process thousands of customer transactions every second. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality, fully-tested code to ensure the level of security and reliability our customers depend on. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help drive the technical direction, secure our platform, and directly enable the future of Client's Intelligent Agreement Management by delivering trusted solutions to our internal partners and external customers. Client time zone - Pacific time zone, overlap 4-5 hours is required.
Responsibility:
Develop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suite
Design and develop user interfaces and core functionality to allow internal developers to more easily integrate applications with client
Design products with security and availability while conducting design and code reviews and not just coding to a spec
Analyze and improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of core services
Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing, and release of products
Design and implement robust monitoring, logging, and telemetry solutions to provide deep operational visibility and ensure the reliability and availability of critical services
Collaborate with engineering teams across the company to integrate data protection services into new platform initiatives, ensuring a security-by-design approach from the earliest stages of development
Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on development experience in C#, Java, C++, or other object oriented programming language
8+ years of software engineering experience in high scale distributed systems
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with micro-service architecture (prefer .Net stack, C# language, or similar languages)
Experience with Key Management Services (KMS) and/or cryptography
Experience building large-scale, highly available, and reliable applications
Experience with design and operation of large scale cloud services
Experience with CI/CD
Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
