Network Engineer L2
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with a strong foundation in hands-on network technologies and a strategic understanding of compute, security, and automation. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5+ years of experience in network operations and transformation projects, with a proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and optimize Cisco ACI environments.
Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies (Cisco, HP, F5, Juniper).
Configure and support F5 LTM/GTM, including iRule scripting, SAML authentication, and SSL termination.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including LLDs, HLDs, and solution architecture diagrams (preferably using Visio).
Utilize Cisco Nexus Dashboard (NDI) for network insights and operations.
Adhere to ITIL processes, with a strong focus on change management.
Support and integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure supports compute and storage virtualization technologies.
Lead or contribute to network automation initiatives, improving efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM), migration strategies, ramp-up plans, and effort estimations for transformation and transition projects.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing large-scale data center networks.
Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI and multi-vendor network environments.
Experience with network services automation and scripting.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their impact on network design.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Solid understanding of cloud networking and hybrid environments.
ITIL certification or working knowledge is a plus.
