IAM / SailPoint Lead Engineer – Level 3

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM / SailPoint Lead Engineer (L3) to join our team and drive the design, development, and support of Identity and Access Management solutions. This role focuses on SailPoint IdentityIQ and requires strong technical leadership, hands-on engineering expertise, and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and administration of SailPoint IdentityIQ, including application onboarding, access certification, and attestation campaigns.

• Design and implement automated provisioning and de-provisioning workflows across internal and external systems.

• Develop and configure connectors and adapters for seamless integration with various systems and databases.

• Define and manage access control roles to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.

• Integrate SailPoint with third-party and in-house applications for birthright provisioning, access requests, approvals, and custom workflows.

• Provide Level 3 support for IAM infrastructure, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and architectural guidance.

• Collaborate with Level 2 operations to monitor system health, ensure data replication, and maintain IAM performance.

• Stay current with RBACx, compliance, and access certification solutions to enhance IAM capabilities.

• Work with web servers (IIS) and maintain strong knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory.

• Understand client requirements and propose tailored IAM solutions, including integration strategies.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.

• Lead project execution with a focus on technical excellence and team collaboration.

• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to drive innovation.

• Mentor and manage a team of IAM professionals, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in IAM implementation and support.

• Minimum 4 years of experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.

• Strong programming background: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets.

• Proven experience with LDAP/Directory Server design and support.

• Familiarity with web technologies: SPML, SOAP, XML, and application servers.

• Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in developing Access Request forms/workflows and customizing IAM solutions to meet business needs.

• Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).

• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.

• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, especially in high-pressure situations.
