Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Trainer with strong expertise in RF fundamentals, routing protocols, SD-WAN/SD-Branch architecture, and enterprise troubleshooting methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for delivering technical training programs, mentoring engineers, conducting hands-on troubleshooting workshops, and enabling operational excellence across networking and wireless technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led training sessions for RF/Wireless technologies, Enterprise Routing & Switching, SD-WAN & SD-Branch.
Conduct technical bootcamps, workshops, and lab-based sessions.
Create technical training materials, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge documents.
Mentor L1/L2/L3 engineers on advanced troubleshooting scenarios.
Perform technical assessments and evaluate engineer readiness.
Core Technical Requirements
RF & Wireless Expertise
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and propagation behavior.
Experience with 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands.
Knowledge of SNR, RSSI, attenuation, multipath, DFS channels, antenna gain, and EIRP.
Understanding of wireless roaming technologies including 802.11r/k/v.
Experience in wireless troubleshooting and high-density deployments.
Routing & Networking Expertise
Strong understanding of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
Knowledge of route redistribution, convergence, failover, and summarization.
Experience with SD-WAN and SD-Branch technologies.
Strong understanding of Underlay and Overlay architectures.
Knowledge of orchestration modes, traffic steering, VPN overlays, and WAN resiliency.
TCP/IP & Protocol Analysis
Strong understanding of OSI Layer encapsulation and decapsulation.
Knowledge of Ethernet, VLAN, TCP, UDP, IPv4, and IPv6 headers.
Strong packet analysis skills using Wireshark.
Ability to troubleshoot packet loss, latency, retransmissions, and session establishment.
Troubleshooting Expertise
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Production issue troubleshooting and escalation management.
Lab replication and bug identification.
Customer communication during outages and critical incidents.
Preferred Experience
ISP operational experience.
TAC support experience.
Exposure to Aruba, Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise technologies.

SD-WAN Certifications
