Job description

Department Overview

The Primary Data Team in IT is the central organization responsible for the governance, quality, and maintenance of our company's most critical data assets. We act as the single source of truth for core business entities like customer, product, and supplier data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all enterprise systems. Our team establishes and enforces data standards, defines data ownership, and implements the necessary tools and processes to cleanse, enrich, and manage primary data throughout its lifecycle. By providing a clean, reliable, and integrated foundation of data, we empower the entire organization to make informed decisions, operate more efficiently, and drive key business initiatives, from digital transformation to advanced analytics.

Data Analysis & Solution Design

  • Conduct extensive data profiling and gap analysis to identify data quality issues and integration requirements.

  • Perform data mapping between source systems and the Oracle CDM platform to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization.

  • Develop and maintain process models and data flow diagrams to illustrate "as-is" and "to-be" states for primary data management.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts to ensure delivered solutions meet the defined business requirements.

  • Work closely with the QA team to validate data migrations and system enhancements.

  • Identify opportunities for automated data cleansing and enrichment rules within the Oracle CDM environment.

Stakeholder Facilitation

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for customer and supplier data definitions and business rules.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to resolve data conflicts between different business units.

  • Provide support and documentation for end-users to ensure high adoption of primary data standards.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant Computer Science, Information Systems or Related Field.

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT professional.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented attitude.

  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

  • Oracle Customer Data Management (CDM) Experience Preferred - Note Both our Customer and Supplier Primary Data are on this platform

  • Availability to work in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82) - Once or Twice a week.
