Embedded Software Engineer located in Cork, Ireland. Relocation allowance is available.

Basic Requirements

Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to develop innovative, mission-critical device-based solutions for our Android-enabled two-way radios. This role focuses on Embedded Linux development while offering the opportunity to enhance your skills in a technology-driven and collaborative environment. Existing knowledge of the Android platform is a plus.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience at least 2 years
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Linux kernel concepts, including memory management, interrupt and event handling, synchronization mechanisms, subsystem infrastructure, CPU resource management, and file system operations within the Linux kernel environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
