Head of Delivery

Moondigo is a growing boutique technology and consulting company supporting large corporate clients in delivering, maintaining, and improving IT solutions. We work across IT delivery, cloud, DevOps, Development and Delivery Effectiveness and AI-assisted software development, combining practical engineering experience with consulting maturity. We are looking for someone who can operate effectively in a smaller, hands-on organization, while bringing the structure, communication standards and delivery discipline required to work with large enterprises. 

We are looking for a hands-on delivery leader who can take responsibility for complex IT projects and operate effectively in a growing boutique consulting company working for large corporate clients

Requirements

• At least 10+ years of experience in IT delivery in different roles, preferably on vendors’ side

• Min 5+ years of experience in managing IT delivery projects, preferably in software development, cloud, DevOps, security or technology consulting.

• Ability to manage several projects in parallel, with clear control over scope, budget, timelines, risks and dependencies

• Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, testers and project managers

• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with corporate clients, including senior stakeholders.

• Hands-on attitude — willingness to go into project details when needed, not only manage through reports

• Ability to work in a smaller, growing organization where structure is important, but not everything is already predefined.

• Good understanding of contracts, delivery commitments, and the business impact of project decisions

• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-scaling organization, with the ability to operate effectively in an environment of shifting priorities, increasing complexity, and a rapidly evolving organizational structure.

• Fluent English proficiency, both spoken and written (C1+), with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively in a day-to-day professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of project delivery, ensuring that the agreed scope is delivered on time and within budget

• Managing multiple client projects in parallel, across different delivery stages and delivery models, including:

  • custom software development with AI-assisted development practices,

  • cloud and Kubernetes implementation projects,

  • security architecture and engineering initiatives,

  • consulting engagements focused on software delivery and development effectiveness

• Work hands-on where and when needed — reviewing plans, clarifying scope, supporting teams, unblocking delivery and stepping into project details when required

• Maintain regular, transparent and professional communication (status, problems, risks, budgets,…) with clients and Moondigo board members

• Leading the full delivery team, including Business Analysts, Developers, Testers and Project Managers

Recruitment Process

1. HR Interview – 30 minutes.

2. Meetings with the Management Board – 1 to 3 interviews, each lasting 60–90 minutes.

3. Meeting with a Project Manager – 60 minutes.
