Consultant SAP FI

We are looking for an experienced Consultant SAP FI to join our client's international consulting team. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all FI areas, driving end-to-end implementations and supporting clients in their digital finance transformation journey.

You will play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle – from business analysis, workshops, and design, through configuration, testing, data migration, and post-go-live support. The role requires strong expertise in S/4HANA FI modules, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in complex, multinational environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of SAP FI experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.

• Deep understanding of core FI processes: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Intercompany postings, Month/Year-end closing, and Financial Reporting.

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA features such as New GL, Document Splitting, Parallel Ledgers, and Multi-Currency setup.

• Proven ability to design, configure, and deliver complex finance solutions.

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English (C1 or higher).

• German language skills are nice to have!

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements in the Finance area.

• Configure and implement solutions within FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and related components.

• Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS, CO).

• Support data migration, testing, cutover, and post-implementation phases.

• Be an advisor to clients – providing insights, recommendations, and solution guidance.

• Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams across multiple locations.

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
