Senior Android Developer

About the role

As an Android Developer at Miquido, you'll take part in building high-quality, modern mobile applications that make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with experienced developers, designers, and testers to deliver scalable solutions for both international clients and internal projects.

Employment details:

We offer a 3-month trial period followed by long-term cooperation.

You + Miquido =

▪️develop applications/features according to provided requirements

▪️participate in defining requirements

▪️integrate applications with internal and third party web services

▪️write unit tests

▪️refactor code when appropriate

▪️participate in code reviews

▪️cooperate with the internal and external teams to increase application quality

▪️support and guide regular and junior developers and testers in problem solving and tasks planning

You can be the perfect match for us, if you have:

▪️At least 4 years of hands-on commercial experience, ideally with exposure to large-scale codebases.

▪️very good knowledge of Kotlin

▪️expert knowledge of Android SDK

▪️very good knowledge of libraries commonly used in Android development (for instance Dagger/Koin, RxJava, Retrofit)

▪️very good knowledge of jetpack compose

▪️very good knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns

▪️very good knowledge of different Android application architecture patterns

▪️ability to write clean, extensible and testable code

▪️ability to debug and profile applications

▪️very good knowledge of Git

▪️familiarity with Agile software development

▪️excellent command of written and spoken English (min. C1 level)

It can be love at first sight if you also have:

▪️experience with Android Architecture Components

▪️knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines

▪️deep knowledge of security issues on mobile

▪️basic knowledge of Flutter

▪️Experience in AI-powered code completion and assistance tools such as GitHub Copilot and Tabnine.

▪️Proficiency in modern AI-enhanced IDEs, including JetBrains IDEs, Cursor and Trae.

▪️Familiarity with AI-assisted test generation and debugging tools, such as Qodo
