QA Engineer / Manual QA Tester (Mobile + Web)

Currently, at Miquido, we are supporting a client — a well-established event technology platform used by thousands of enterprise clients worldwide — in expanding their QA capabilities.

We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about product quality and real user experience, and who enjoys working on complex systems where stability is truly critical.

About the Project

This role is part of a long-term cooperation where Miquido is building a dedicated engineering team working directly with the client’s internal product teams. You will be contributing to the development and quality assurance of a mature SaaS platform that powers virtual, hybrid, and onsite enterprise events.

It is a large-scale event platform built on one codebase, supporting white-label mobile applications (iOS/Android) and a browser-based web application, with a strong focus on real-time event execution. A key part of the ecosystem is Backstage — the central web-based admin panel where events are configured, branded, and managed.

The product includes critical features such as event agendas, attendee registration, mass mailing, CRM exports, and especially live streaming, which is one of the most business-critical areas of the platform.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the platform remains stable and reliable across multiple applications and environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing manual testing of applications: iOS, Android, Web (participant side), and Backstage (admin panel)

• Executing end-to-end testing of full event flows (from configuration in Backstage to the attendee experience)

• Running exit tests before monthly major releases to validate the most critical product areas

• Conducting regression and exploratory testing, identifying edge cases and hidden risks

• Collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and support to reproduce issues and validate fixes

• Helping define test priorities based on risk and real event impact

• Reporting defects with high-quality documentation and clear reproduction steps

Requirements

Must Have

• Strong experience in manual QA testing for mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web applications

• Solid understanding of end-to-end testing, with a user-centric mindset

• Hands-on experience with regression testing, exploratory testing, and release validation (exit testing)

• Ability to understand how backend changes impact frontend behavior and platform functionality

• Confidence working with admin panels / CMS-like environments (e.g., Backstage configuration)

• Strong ownership and ability to work in an environment where QA processes are still evolving

• English min C1/C2

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools like Charles Proxy, network throttling, debugging performance issues

• Basic experience with API testing using Swagger/OpenAPI or Postman

• Understanding of test automation concepts (even if automation is not your main responsibility)

• Previous experience in SaaS / B2B platforms, event tech, media, or large-scale applications
