Miquido
We’re seeking a proactive Project Manager who can confidently lead multiple projects simultaneously while serving as a trusted partner to both the client and the development team.
In this role, you’ll not only guide and support the team in daily collaboration but also step into the shoes of a proxy-PO when needed – helping to shape requirements, refine ideas, and bridge the gap between business and tech. If you thrive in Agile environments, feel comfortable working with both global enterprises and fast-moving startups, and bring energy, ownership, and strong communication skills in Polish and English, we’d love to hear from you!
You + Miquido =
Leading 1-3 project teams to deliver top-notch software solutions (Mobile, Frontend, Backend, R&D, Design) for our customers
Acting as both Project Manager and proxy-Product Owner - supporting requirement discovery, refining the backlog, and ensuring business needs are clearly translated into development tasks
Facilitating close collaboration between the client’s PO and the development team, fostering a proactive mindset where the team contributes to ideation and requirement shaping
Taking ownership of the project backlog, estimation process, prioritization, and smooth execution of tasks
Organizing and facilitating daily teamwork using Agile best practices, adapting processes to the team’s and client’s needs
Acting as a true servant leader - from handling administrative tasks to driving strategic planning, retrospectives, and team development initiatives
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients of different sizes (from startups to global enterprises), running demos, status updates, and occasionally traveling for on-site
Bridging the gap between business and technology, ensuring project goals are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality
Continuously improving team workflows and promoting Agile values and practices across projects
You can be the perfect match for us, if you have:
3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master in IT (preferably in a software house environment)
Excellent communication skills in Polish (advanced/ native) and English (C1) - able to adapt messaging to developers, business stakeholders, and executives
Strong practical knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to select and apply the right approach depending on the project and client
Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (risk management, quality assurance, mobile/web platforms)
Proven ability to manage budgets, scope, and timelines in both Agile and Waterfall contexts, and to communicate changes effectively to stakeholders (both - internally and to the clients)
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ideally in international contexts
Passion for both product ownership and team leadership – with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire developers as well as give constructive feedback
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence, and other project management tools (e.g. for building gantt charts)
Strong people skills – empathetic but also able to give constructive feedback, boost team morale, motivate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders
Familiarity with AI-powered tools (e.g. for project management, documentation, communication, or automation) and enthusiasm for promoting their use within the team to improve efficiency and collaboration
Nice to have:
Technical background or a strong interest in IT development and new technologies
Experience in working directly with startups or small companies, navigating fast-changing requirements, limited budget & resources
Experience supporting the sales process - from shaping offers and estimates, through participation in client workshops, to smooth project kick-off
Curiosity for emerging trends and innovations that make project delivery smoother and smarter
What do we offer?
ambitious, creative, talented & highly experienced team
contributing to projects for clients all over the world
flexible working hours
private health insurance, MultiSport Card, HearMe platform and other goodies
