Node.js Developer

About the project

We’re looking for a Node.js Developer to join Miquido for a 3-month project within the fintech domain, with the possibility of long-term collaboration afterwards.

You’ll be part of a team developing a modern web and mobile platform that combines educational content, event management, and community features with a referral-based reward system.

Our team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery — including the web app (React), mobile app (React Native), backend (Node.js), admin panel (CMS), payment and subscription systems, AI/ML-based recommendation engine, and integrations with external platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend features according to project requirements

• Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs

• Integrate external services and third-party systems

• Participate in defining requirements and architecture

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code

• Conduct unit and integration tests

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, testers, and project managers

Must have

• 2–3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and NestJS

• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)

• Experience with REST / GraphQL API design

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)

• Solid understanding of Git / GitHub Flow

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

• Very good command of English (min. B2)

• Communicative Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with React / React Native

• Experience integrating payment and subscription systems

• Understanding of AI/ML recommendation systems
