AI / Machine Learning Consultant (part-time)

At Miquido, AI is one of our key strategic initiatives. We build production-grade Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions used by enterprises and public-sector clients, including healthcare, finance and large-scale digital platforms.

With growing client demand for ML and Generative AI, we’re looking for an AI / Machine Learning Expert who combines strong technical expertise with business-oriented thinking and can help us scale AI initiatives across the company.

This role is for professionals who understand that in real-world AI systems, reliability, explainability and business value matter more than hype.

Type of work: part-time

You + Miquido =

• support pre-sales and consulting processes by providing AI/ML expertise

• work directly with C-level stakeholders to shape AI-driven business solutions

• lead AI projects end-to-end, from discovery and concept to production deployment

• design, build and deploy Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions

• work hands-on with Large Language Models (LLMs), including:

• knowledge hubs and internal search systems

• conversational and assistant-based solutions

• document analysis and information extraction pipelines

• design and optimize prompt strategies and fine-tuning approaches for LLMs (e.g. OpenAI models)

• select appropriate ML architectures and approaches based on real business constraints

• collaborate on defining and executing Miquido’s AI strategy

• translate business, product and domain requirements into scalable AI solutions

• work closely with developers, data engineers, PMs and designers

• evaluate AI feasibility, risks and ROI for client use cases

• ensure AI solutions are production-ready, maintainable and measurable

• actively participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making

• continuously improve existing AI solutions and pipelines

We’re looking for someone who:

• has strong Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn)

• has very good knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets

• has hands-on experience building Machine Learning solutions, especially in NLP

• understands the architecture and inner workings of Large Language Models (LLMs)

• has experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning language models (e.g. GPT)

• is comfortable working in data science environments (Jupyter Notebook, Git)

• can design AI solutions with scalability and production constraints in mind

• is able to clearly explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• has strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• communicates fluently in English (C1 level or higher)

Strong nice-to-haves (highly valued):

• experience building backend services or APIs for AI systems

• hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

• background in statistical or classical NLP methods

• experience deploying ML models to production environments,

• knowledge of MLOps practices and model monitoring

• experience working with regulated or data-sensitive domains (e.g. healthcare, finance)

• familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

• experience working with AI-assisted development tools
