Our Client is a leading provider of optical switching solutions. The company specializes in developing and manufacturing high-performance optical matrix switches, which are crucial components in telecommunications, data center, and network testing applications.

The plant is situated on the outskirts of Krakow and will be your primary workplace for in-office tasks. Following a brief orientation period, hybrid work arrangements will become available as an option.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and expanding they database structures, ensuring efficient data management, and supporting production requirements with robust software solutions.

• Maintain and enhance the functionality of database structures (MS SQL) using SQL.
• Create and revise software documentation to ensure clarity and usability.
• Analyze production requirements and propose database-driven software solutions.
• Adhere to and promote the company's good coding practices.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables and share knowledge with other developers

The Successful Applicant

• Extensive knowledge of database structure design, maintenance, and processing large datasets.
• Experience in maintaining manufacturing databases, backed by at least 4 years of professional experience.
• Basic experience in industrial application development using LabVIEW
• A strong understanding of the software development process.
• A willingness to expand your coding skillset, follow guidance from experienced developers, and share your expertise with others.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in English at a communicative level.
• A high level of self-organization and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice to Have:

• Development skills in C/C#/Python
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
